Caroline Wallner

Artist Caroline Wallner founded Tivoli Tile Works in 1998 in Tivoli, New York. Trained in sculpture and painting, Wallner’s work synthesizes both mediums, creating functional objects for everyday use. Wallner’s work has been shown at institutions including the Met Breuer, The Cloisters, and the Milan Institute of Contemporary Art. Found in homes around the world, each piece is handmade and hand-glazed in Wallner’s studio located in Saugerties, New York. The work is intended to be used, lived with, and loved over time.
